Responsibilities of Junior Panhellenic include:
Planning one Panhellenic-wide event each semester
- Providing a fresh, alternative perspective on issues that face the entire sorority community
- By-Weekly meetings
- Committee Work
Junior Panhellenic is comprised of freshman members from a range of sororities belonging to the Panhellenic Council. Junior Panhellenic provides these new members with an involvement opportunity in the Panhellenic community early in their sorority experience. Many past Junior Panhellenic leaders say they gained valuable leadership experience and invaluable friends. Membership in Junior Panhellenic can often serve as a stepping-stone to becoming an officer on the Panhellenic Executive Board or leadership within their chapter.
Being a part of Junior Panhellenic also provides young members with the opportunity to meet and work with sorority women of other chapters as they work to increase Panhellenic unity among the entire sorority community.
Junior Panhellenic is advised by the Executive Vice President of the Panhellenic Council.
